We are pleased to announce that we will be starting the planning process for the next iteration of our strategic plan. We believe in the progress we have made under Success by Design and feel that its objectives will provide a strong foundation to continue to build upon.
The heart of a university’s strategic plan is its institutional vision: what the university is working towards as it seeks to fulfill its mission. NKU’s current vision statement is as follows:
Reflecting on the tenure of Success By Design, NKU has sought, and in many cases achieved these desired outcomes. We have continued to redefine ourselves in order to provide a more welcoming environment to foster student access and success, and developed many new, exciting partnerships at the local and even international level. Moreover, in recent years NKU has been nationally recognized for its exceptional value and the positive impact on the social mobility of our graduates.
We believe that this vision accurately reflects the current state and future direction of NKU and will serve as a guiding light as we craft our next strategic plan over the course of the coming year.
We will strive to provide an engaged planning experience over the course of the coming year, which will include several opportunities to provide your valued input on your experiences and vision for NKU.
If you were unable to attend our April listening sessions or wish to provide additional comments, you are welcome to provide your feedback through the form below.
We are eager to hear your perspective, answer any questions, and discuss the planning process with you further.
This team will provide a diverse range of thought, ensure a manageable workload, and allow for quick and decisive action. Committee activity will predominately be completed during Fall and Spring semester. Each committee member will be provided with a term limit that is open to renewal.
